Sales Representative

Alibre, Inc., an entrepreneurial high-tech startup in the Richardson, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, is growing rapidly and needs motivated and charismatic inside sales people.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively prospecting, qualifying and closing potential new business accounts.

  • Meeting quarterly revenue targets and guide team to do the same.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about sales with a consistent track record of sales achievement.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years inside sales/telesales/telemarketing experience.
  • Detail-oriented; ability to complete a large volume of work quickly.
  • Passionate about the solving customer problems with technology.
  • Strong computer applications skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • An understanding of 3D or graphics software is a plus.
  • BA/BS degree is desired.
  • A knowledge of mechanical design, engineering and/or manufacturing is a BIG plus.

Systems Administrator

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining network infrastructure such as switches and routers, and diagnosing problems with these or with the behavior of network-attached devices.
  • Deploying and administering (24x7) all LAN/WAN and Windows 2000/2003 Servers for facilities, including DHCP, DNS, WINS, File and Print Services, Microsoft Exchange, IIS, VSS, CA Etrust, Kix32 Login Scripting, Alibre Design Server and Microsoft SQL Server. Deploy, monitor and administer Alibre Design Server services.
  • Maintaining computer and network security, including the administration of security devices such as firewalls, as well as consulting on general security measures.
  • Installing, supporting, and maintaining servers and other computer systems, and planning for and responding to service outages and other problems.
  • Performing routine maintenance and upkeep, such as changing backup tapes or replacing failed drives in a RAID array.
  • Provisioning and maintaining company-wide desktops and laptops running Windows Vista/XP/2000 Professional, Microsoft Office suite.
  • Responding to individual users' difficulties with computer systems, providing instructions and sometimes training, and diagnosing and solving common OS, software and hardware problems for employees.
  • Maintaining hardware and software inventory and asset tracking.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of related work experience.
  • A+, MCP or similar certifications preferred.
  • Experience building computers, diagnosing and replacing computer hardware components.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Vista/XP/2000 Professional, Windows 2000/20003 Server, Microsoft Office suite.
  • Programming experience with login scripts and T-SQL would be a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.

Customer Support Representative

Provide first-line technical support to Alibre Design customers and trial users via telephone, product, email, or support database. Responsible for interfacing with customers in a professional and courteous manner and ensuring timely resolution of issues and appropriate escalation of the same to Development, QA and/or Management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Technical support responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Gaining technical proficiency using Alibre Design
  • Helping end users with installation, problems, and product related questions and suggestions.
  • Documenting and reporting product defects and/or feature requests.
  • Training current and prospective customers, and supporting internal employees.
  • Interfacing with the Development, QA and Product Management teams on defects and feature enhancements.
Work schedule is eight hours per day at the Company's office between the business hours of 8 am and 6 pm Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering or related field preferred
  • Basic working knowledge of mechanical design, engineering and/or manufacturing
  • Six months to five years CAD related experience
  • Working knowledge of CAD systems such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor, Pro-E
  • One to five years of technical support in a product related support environment
  • Working knowledge of problem management tools and customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be able to multi task and prioritize workload to solve problems quickly
  • Excellent organizational/time management skills
  • Ability to maintain client support in a high stress environment

Creative Services Specialist

Job Description
The Creative Services Specialist will:

  • Assist in the development and production of marketing communications materials including direct mail advertisements, HTML newsletters, brochures, packaging, presentations and other projects as assigned.
  • Update the marketing content of the Alibre website.
  • Coordinate production with external vendors so that materials are produced and distributed on time.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong computer graphics skills, PC experience is a must.
  • Experience with graphic design software including QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML a must; knowledge of VBScript, JavaScript or ASP.net a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of preparing files for print and online distribution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to multi-task, have excellent organizational skills and be able to work well in a deadline-oriented, team environment.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback, prioritize workload and solve problems quickly.
  • Professional portfolio of design samples required.

Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsible for performing quality processes and procedures. The main duties and responsibilities will include performing product evaluations utilizing engineering design collaboration scenarios, formulating test strategies, establishing and improving QA process/procedures, creating test plans/test cases, and all activities aimed at improving the customer experience with the product. He/She will analyze test results, and report problems via the defect tracking system. He/She will verify code fixes and sign off on resolutions. He/She will also perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in computer science and/or engineering;
  • 4 years experience in a previous SQA environment;
  • 4 years experience Web and client server testing knowledge;
  • 3 years Visual Basic scripting experience;
  • 3+ years computer proficiency including all Microsoft Windows Products.

Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsible for certifying quality of products, services and customer QoE. Identify Software Quality Assurance testing tools and required equipment. Test products for stability, usability, precision, accuracy and reliability. Prepare SQA summary reports. Develop, schedule and implement SQL test plans.

Qualifications: Include client server testing, SQL and Visual Basic.

Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of local, network or internet-related computer programs for commercial and end user applications such as desktop application products. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modification.

Requirements: BS in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science; 3+ years experience in professional software development; 2+ years JAVA programming using Microsoft Windows platform; 4 years experience in C/C++; 3+ years experience with mechanical design and practice; 3 years experience using mathematical tools (i.e. digital simulation); 2 years experience with mechanical drafting standard practice and 2 years experience in OOD and OOA.

Software Developer

Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of local, network or internet-related computer programs for commercial and end user applications such as desktop application products. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modification.

Requirements: BS in CS or ME or equivalent experience in programming computer application; 1-3 years experience; 2 years of working knowledge of JAVA or C++, HTML; 1+ years of experiences using MCAD software; 1+ years of experience using Visual Basic is a plus; 1+ years experience within an MCAD development environment a plus.

Software Developer

Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of local, network or internet-related computer programs for commercial and end user applications such as desktop application products. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modification.

Requirements: Skills include JAVA, C++, XML and mechanical design.
